Welcome writing friends! You have begun an epic journey into the world of writing.
There will be tests and trials, mostly of your patience.
There will be everyday denizens of writings habits; monsters of deadlines and editors; and bosses of publication and audiences waiting for you. And guess what? You get to win.
Every day will feel long in the beginning. They’ll get shorter and shorter as time goes on. Until they stop getting short and they stay just the same.
That will be your sweet spot.
The sweet spot will be where you shine. When people find you, watch for you, and really, really, really want to read your writing.
You’ll need to develop new skills, new ideas, and new ways of thinking.
